May 1, 2008 Spider's Outdoor Day If you are aged 8-12 years and attend our Spider's Club we are offering you the chance to attend our Outdoor Day on Real Rock on Sat 10th May 2008. We will be leaving Rockcity at 7:45am and heading for the Peak District or North York Moors and returning approx 5pm. The cost is £75.00 per child and includes all transport and equipment hire. Rockcity now has eight Self Belay
Devices. This gives
the lone climber a chance to do routes, without a belayer and without
having to solo! The self belay device, never locks off! It simply
lowers anyone between 5 stone and 24 stone to the ground at a
nice, controlled rate. The device even offers protection as soon
as you leave the floor, with no slack in the system and no rope
stretch you will not hit the floor from 12" up! |
