Hawthorn Avenue regeneration starts - July 9, 2010
Hawthorn Avenue, Hull has been in need of a serious make over for a lot of years. Finally the guys at Gateway have started the wholesale regeneration of this area. After years of neglect and demolition we are finally seeing new houses appearing from our windows and car park. This is good news as we have made a long term commitment to being here in Hull and welcome the investment into our community.

 | Rockcity Price Increase - June 24, 2010
After 5 years with no increase in our admission prices we are finally having
to put them up.
Adult Members and Childrens admissions will increase by £1.
Day Members will increase by £2.
New prices will be introduced for August 2010.
This will include the increase in VAT to 20% that the government has announced will be introduced later in the year.

 | Disability access for Rockcity - May 8, 2010
Working in partnership with East Riding of
Yorkshire County Council, Richard 'Rocky' Clark held a training session for
staff to increase access for wheel chair users to use the climbing centre.
Using special harnesses and pulley systems devised in conjunction with the
Bendrigg Trust, the East Riding of Yorkshire County Council are able to
offer an increased range of services for residents with disabilities within
the East Riding.
Unfortunately there are currently no services of this type available to
residents within the Hull City Council boundaries.
